The startup update check and download now have timeout protection to prevent Margin Master from hanging on the splash screen when an update server or endpoint security software becomes unresponsive. A new support document provides antivirus exclusion guidance for IT staff.
What changed
Startup update operations now bounded with timeout protection
If the update server doesn't respond during startup, Margin Master will now give up after a reasonable time and open normally instead of staying stuck on the splash screen. The automatic hourly check will retry the update in the background.
