Prevent binary files from being imported as custom group SKUs

The custom group SKU import now validates that selected files are text or spreadsheets and that each SKU contains only valid characters. This prevents binary files from being accidentally imported and creating unmatchable SKU entries.

Binary file protection for custom group SKU imports

When importing SKUs into a custom group, Margin Master now checks that the file is actually a SKU list and won't accept PDFs, images, or other non-text files that would create broken entries.

SKU validation during import

The SKU import now skips over headings and descriptions, accepting only valid SKU formats that can actually match products in your database.

Expanded file format support for SKU imports

You can now import SKUs directly from Excel spreadsheets without first saving them as text files.

SQL injection protection in SKU description lookup

SKUs containing apostrophes or other special characters now look up their descriptions correctly during import.

Import error reporting

When the import skips a line, you'll now see a clear explanation of why it wasn't accepted as a valid SKU.
