Propello POS Import
What is this?
Propello (Epicor Retail Cloud) is a point-of-sale system Margin Master connects to directly: once the connection is entered in Tools > Options > Propello, Data > Import Propello Data (Ctrl+I) downloads the product export from Propello itself, and Print/Export > Propello Price Review sends price changes back into Propello. A file-based Excel import remains available as a fallback.

How Import Works
- Set POS System Type to Propello on the Store Information tab, then enter the Propello URL, username and password on the Propello tab and click Save & Test (guide, section 1).
- Click Data > Import Propello Data. Margin Master logs in, requests the export, shows elapsed and estimated time left, downloads the file and imports it (guide, section 2).
- If the download fails, Margin Master offers to import an Excel file you exported from Propello yourself instead.
Tips
- Vendor-specific mappings: Propello supports both Ace Hardware and Do it Best vendor types, each with different field mappings and post-import enrichment — see the guide's Technical Details.

Q: Is Propello part of the modern DataImport framework?
A: Partially. The staging load (Excel → PropelloImport table) uses the MarginMaster.DataImport FileImportService engine, which reads whatever columns the file contains. The main-table build and export still run in the WPF PropelloImportService.
