What is this file?
The Mapp_Pricing file contains Ace Hardware's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) and Internet Minimum Advertised Price (IMAP) data. These are advertising price floors set by Ace at the product level. Main Table Impact
This file does not directly populate main table columns during data import. MAP and IMAP prices are synced to the local AceMappPricingRecords table and made available as columns in the Margin Master data grid. They can be used in pricing strategies to ensure advertised prices comply with Ace Hardware's pricing policies.
The MAP and IMAP values are accessible in Margin Master through:
- The Ace MAP and Ace IMAP columns in the main data grid
- Pricing strategy formulas that reference MAP/IMAP as price floors
Business Rules
- Complementary record merging: A single SKU may appear in the file with only a MAP price or only an IMAP price. When both records exist for the same SKU, they are merged into a single record.
- Primary key: AceStockNum (case-insensitive matching).
