What's New After an Update
What is this?
Every Margin Master version ships with release notes. There are two ways to read them - a page on marginmaster.com and the in-app Version History window - and, if you choose, a prompt the first time you start a new version.
The three Help menu items

| Version History | Opens the in-app Version History window - every version with its release notes, and which ones this computer has had installed - see Version History |
| Show What's New at Startup | A tick: when on, the first start after an update shows the prompt below. Off by default |
The prompt after an update
With Show What's New at Startup on, the first start of a new version (when online) asks:
Margin Master has been updated to version X.Y.Z. Would you like to see what's new?
View Version History opens the Version History window at the new version; Close dismisses. Ticking Do not show in the future turns the menu item off. The prompt appears once per version.
Tips
Support often asks which version you are on: Help > About Margin Master, or the first line of Version History.
Common Questions
Q: I updated but saw no prompt. A: The prompt is off by default - tick Help > Show What's New at Startup. It also needs an internet connection at that start.
Q: Version History says release notes aren't available for this version. A: Versions built locally, and releases from before notes were captured, have none to show. The browser page has the full history.
